Minn Oil Form Release Agent is a unique and powerful form release agent designed specifically for the Minnesota DOT.

With the Minnesota Department of Transportation's efforts to use only the safest possible products we have developed a release agent with little to no environmental impact. We use only the highest-quality ingredients, resulting in a superior product with exceptional release properties.

Minn Oil Form Release Agent is safe to use on previously treated forms. Use on metal, wood, plastic or fiberglass. Does not wash off with rain. Dramatically reduces clean-up time. Will not interfere with the bonding of paint or other coatings. Proprietary rapid-dry™ formula allows forms to be stacked immediately after application. Helps protect from rust, weather, and corrosion. Meets or exceeds non-staining requirements of the Corps of Engineers, GSA and the Bureau of Reclamation.

Application

Spray application is recommended but Minn Oil Form Release Agent can be applied by other conventional methods. Apply even coat to clean, dry forms avoiding puddles, runs. Sprayer must be cleaned with mineral spirits.

Limitations

Not for use on tilt-up casting slabs or plaster waste molds.

Coverage

-Plywood: Up to 1,200 sq. ft. per gal

-Steel, plastic, and fiberglass: Up to 2,200 sq. ft per gal.

-Aluminum or Elastomeric Urethane: Up to 2,200 sq. ft. per gal.

Form brackets, concrete buckets, tie rods, shoring, and scaffolding can be treated daily, or as needed, to soften concrete buildups and prevent further accumulations.
